Visit to RSPB Frampton Marsh

The Society held its annual personal survival training day at RSPB Frampton Marsh on May 26th 2019. The withering rain guided like a cruise missile by an Easterly breeze, conveniently started at the halfway point where there was the least shelter and continued unrelentingly until everyone re-grouped in one of the hides for sanctuary.

Eventually the weather relented and we left cautiously in small groups eyeing the sky nervously whilst cradling our ponchos. Apart from the inclement weather which strangely raised everyone's humour, all were counted back in at the end of the mission. Hopefully this sequence of images show some of the beauty to be found even on the dullest of days.
