Spring Offensive - Taylor Bulbs Centenary Day

A few members took advantage of the Taylor Bulbs Centenary Day held on April 10th which they hosted in conjunction with the Royal Horticultural Society. The day included indoor speaker presentations on both the history of daffodils and display ideas on how to use them in your garden. There was also the opportunity of a 45 minute tractor and trailer tour round the bulb growing fields and the chance to view the machinery and processes used in their growing, harvesting, treatment and packaging for their distribution and sale.
