Luscious Lawns - Lawn care for Perfect Lawns

Geoff said there were several types of lawn: Luxury, Utilty, 2nd Class & Worn out Lawns! He then explained the preparation involved in starting a new lawn and it’s upkeep. The most important thing for good lawn is the mowing. He gave lots of advice on setting lawnmowers for the correct cut; buying a lawnmower and edging after mowing. The second factor is how much water to give your lawn. Thirdly feeding, types of fertilizer and its correct application, and lastly raking and the types of rake to use. Geoff answered many questions throughout his extremely entertaining talk and was most generous in donating some of his display items to that evening’s raffle prizes.
