Madeira - Part 3 (The Trilogy!)

Colin Ward with Karen his wife presented the final part of their Madeira series and drove winter from our bones by describing the many varied plants, flowers and palms that enjoy the all year round growing season of the Island. The botanical gardens in Funchal with their Bottle Palms, Orchids, Coffee plants and large numbers of disrespectful passengers from giant cruise ships can all found in great profusion there.

In addition to the presentation Colin also described some of the plants they had brought along and stock in their Swines Meadow Farm Nursery in Market Deeping.
