Cheese & Wine evening

The Glinton Village Hall was full on Friday 14th when the Society held its annual Cheese & Wine Evening. This year’s entertainment was provided by Derek Harris who presented his “Characters on the Cut” show. Derek presents a series of character portraits of those people involved in the development and use of the English canal system. Each profile is developed through a song (some with audience participation!) and a snippet of their dialogue which is brought to life with dialect and quick change hats.

Everyone enjoyed the show and the large buffet. Thanks to all those who put so much work in the preparation.
